Most people don't know how to introduce themselves. In rooms full of important people, the first 60 seconds is where you get noticed or overlooked. I work with founders, leaders, and teams to greatly increase the chances it goes your way.
Cal left a well paying job as an investment banker in New York to travel around the world for a year. Upon returning, he focused his time on advising businesses on strategy as well as helping leaders, founders, and rising professionals on how to sharpen the way they communicate at networking events, interviews, meetings, pitches, and beyond.
As a Communications Expert, Cal has harnessed the ability to present himself effectively in social situations which has allowed him to connect with others and leave a lasting impression. This has led to countless business opportunities, friendships, partnerships, and a global network of talented people.
Often times when we first meet people, we don't know what to say or how to introduce ourselves effectively. This can leave us feeling awkward and unsure, which is then felt by the other person who in turn loses interest in getting to know us further.
Cal's work teaches participants to enhance their ability to connect with others both personally and professionally by learning how to create an impactful, memorable introduction that reflects who you are, your values, and the uniqueness that you bring.
He is currently a guest lecturer at UCLA's Department of Communication and an executive producer of a Tribeca Film Festival award-winning documentary. His work has been featured on podcasts including Dhru Purohit, Selling with Love, Travel Tales, and Cultural Collision.
If you've ever heard that question, you already know the cost. The wrong impression in the first 60 seconds doesn't just slow a conversation down. It quietly closes doors you didn't even see were open.
The people you want to remember you are the hardest ones to make remember you. Founders pitching investors. Leaders walking into rooms full of strangers. Salespeople meeting prospects who've already decided to be skeptical. The higher the stakes of the room, the smaller the margin for error in those first moments.
I work with founders, leadership teams, sales organizations, and universities on what to say, how to land, and why the smallest moments end up doing the heaviest lifting. The goal isn't to be impressive. It's to be remembered, for the right reasons, by the people you actually want to remember you.

"Cal really helped me unpack my story and communicate it with confidence. Now when I meet new people, it's so much easier to let them know who I am."
"After a session with Cal, I was much more aware of how people were perceiving me when I introduced myself. Cal really helped me put the best version of myself forward."
"I wasn't exactly sure what to say when someone would ask me what I do. I'd say something boring that would stop the conversation in its tracks. Now, I get noticed."
